A Special Project ---"The Call of Love and Response "
In celebration of the Club's Golden Jubilee, a special project titled "The Call of Love and Response (愛的召叫與回應)" to promote religious vocations to catholic schools in Hong Kong was launched in 2013 and 2014 with the support of the Catholic Education Office of the Hong Kong Diocese.

Schools at different levels were invited to participate in the following competitions :
(i) Kindergartens --- colouring competition in October 2013;
(ii) Primary schools --- copying biblical passages and writing reflections on religious vocation in March 2014;
(iii) Secondary schools --- activities to promote religious vocation in school compound from October 2013 to January 2014.

Response from schools was encouraging with 37 kindergartens, 54 primary schools and 28 secondary schools signed up respectively for the three different competitions.

A prize-giving ceremony was held at the Caritas Community Hall on Saturday May 10, 2014. The Club was much honoured to have His Eminence Cardinal John Tong Hon, Bishop of Hong Kong, as the officiating guest of the ceremony and attendance of about two hundred participants comprising students, parents, school principals, teachers and Serrans.

Winning pieces of work in the kindergarten and primary school competitons were exhibited while representatives from a number of secondary schools were invited to share their experiences and reflections on promoting vocations in schools.

The whole event ended in a high note with performances by three kindergartens: a colourful and energetic lion dance and two well choreographed dance and song performances.
